Creating New Living Choices in the Cedar Valley Cedar Valley Restoration and Development was founded by David C. Deeds in 2004. CVRD, or its affiliates, has been an owner and manager of residential rental real estate in Waterloo-Cedar Falls since 1996. CVRD actively entered residential renovation in the Rath Area Neighborhood during 2002 and has been engaged in the acquisition and restoration of existing homes. In 2004, CVRD commenced construction of architecturally appropriate infill housing. Through a combination of restoration and renovation of existing homes and construction of architecturally appropriate new housing, it is CVRD’s belief that dramatic improvements can be achieved in the neighborhood. Since August 2004, Mr. Deeds has fully engaged in the redevelopment of the Cedar River Neighborhood. Mr. Deeds is a licensed residential and commercial contractor in the cities of Waterloo and Cedar Falls. Prior to August, Mr. Deeds served in senior management roles with sizable senior housing companies headquartered in greater Chicago. Mr. Deeds served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Parkside Senior Services located in Skokie, Illinois. Prior to his tenure with Parkside, Mr. Deeds was the Chief Financial Officer for Senior Lifestyle Corporation (SLC). |
